We used Sage Labs in 2023 and tested clean for CAE, Johne's, CL, and QFever.
As of December 2022, the herd is back on DHI, testing through Indiana State Dairy Association.

Lucy is a favorite here. I call her my "Nuthin' Fancy Lucy," because her pedigree isn't remarkable. However, she is proving herself in both the show ring and in performance programs as a solid, functional, and beautiful dairy goat. She has a lovely, capacious udder, with nice large teats that are meant for hand milking, and she is a heavy, consistent producer, who I've milked for a year solid in the past. She's gentle on the milk stand, easy going in the show ring, and just a strong, healthy doe.

Starlight is my heart goat. She's beautiful, has a lovely calm and quiet demeanor, and most of all is an excellent milk producer. I have retained all of her daughters. Unfortunately, she has skin cancer, so she has been retired. It's my hope that she lives many more years here among the herd as a pasture ornament.
