    Update on the Attack Mouse

    The varmint war was a very short lived war. I'll not be posting any pictures with this blog, simply updating on the status of the mouse. We found his corpse. Apparent heart attack.

    Some people like to wake in the mornings with a warm cup of coffee. I do too. I did just that this morning, and it was so good. But then I got that extra, unexpected double espresso shot that wasn’t quite as enjoyable as if it were a real double espresso shot.     I wasn’t the only one wearing my pajamas this morning. And there is not a more frightening feeling than a wild chicken loose in your shirt. I’ve had a lot of new experiences in the 2 years we’ve been farmers. Some good, some frantic, some scary, and some funny.     Thank you for following our adventure. We’ve had so much support and help along the way. It’s always great to hear words of encouragement and to learn people are actually watching our journey. It was -2 degrees this morning when I trekked out at 5 am to milk a goat and break ice in water buckets.
